A New Magic Shake that will change your Life!

Do you ever forget to eat breakfast, run out of time for lunch, or have nothing to cook for dinner?

Check out one of the latest food innovations, a power drink that will help you to never miss a meal again!

One bottle = one meal or 1 pouch of powder = 4 meals!

Aussielent is the Australian version of the American meal-replacement drink Soylent, that combines a balance of all the recommended nutritional intake, including all the vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, protein and fibre doses you need. It comes in chocolate, vanilla or body flavour as a ready to drink bottle or powder mixture.

Taste Test!...

I tried the vanilla flavoured Aussielent, premixed. The first sip was okay, it reminded me of a plain oat smoothie, although after a few more mouthfuls the terrible metallic aftertaste made me reluctant to keep on drinking. I have heard that mixing it with banana or milo greatly improves the taste, although I'm yet to try it. Overall I would say it’s not a great tasting drink, maybe a 5 out of 10, and it would definitely be a struggle for me to replace all the delicious variety of food and drinks out there with it!! But it is certainly very convenient and easy to prepare, great for when you’re in a rush, and I would still recommend it to everyone as it’s a healthy replacement for the occasional meal. (Oh but make sure you hydrate...Aussielent doesn’t mean you don’t need to drink water!)
